Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered – Mechanics and Vehicle Guide!

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered – Mechanics and Vehicle Guide! Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is the best remaster of one of the best Need For Speed games ever made. An installation of HP2010/Remastered is handling mechanics and the most useful TA cars for each tier.

The feel of driving is top in the winning spot for me. That is a superb first, and the drift is excellent for easy control. Also, the drift was so tight. The graphics are good. If you compare this model with the original, then you look at there is much difference. But it is good for the free version. That’s why I recommend it.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Handling Mechanics and Vehicle Recommendations:

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Brake to Drift

Release and Clasp the Throttle key repeat on the console, or carefully press the brake trigger on the gamepad to decrease speed loss to start a drift. Consider a pull of handbrake in a drift when handling tight turns.

Experienced drivers will time and use up their nitrous right before beginning a drift to maximize cornering speed.

Crashing sideways into traffic/roadblock while drifting will not affect your speed very much, as it will improve in a magical formula.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered Nitrous and Gears

It takes one second to reach full power (avoid the spamming nitrous button).

Gear changing intervals is lost (Normally a less number of gear cars can perform better under nitrous!).

May push the revs more powerful, than usual at the same speed, making more advanced upshifts. (It is impossible IRL, but this game is rev counter does not correspond to actual engine speed.)

Many cars have overdrive gears. It is a problem. These extra gears ensure that the relative top speed of each vehicle of the same level will be higher than that of the Nitrus / Turbo (280/310/350/380/410 for T1-5 respectively). Many extra gears will break down the car and below the red line. Can not downshift. A few examples of the T4 Marseillago / Reventons and the 911 GT3 RS are suffering from this.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered TA Best Cars

In most cases, the choices for WR attempts the IIRC.

Due to the improved nitrous and top speed, some of the cars in the COP can be much faster than the racer variant, and high-speed cars in The racer will be nerfed in Cop. For hot pursuits, you may need to consider something extra Health.

Tier 1

Mazda RX8, Porsche 911 Turbo

  • RX8 has top speed and drifting handling, even capable of straight-line drifting, but turn-in is lightly slower. 911 Turbo has excellent nitrous, only five gears, and the highest top speed in class, but its drifting is more critical.
  • Avoid Evo X.

Tier 2

Maserati GranTurismo S/GranCabrio, Carbon E7 (Cop exclusive/removed in Remastered).

  • This class is maybe the most balanced one. The Maseratis are not vastly faster than anything else. Carbon E7 has a very high top speed. Even among the cop cars.
  • Avoid Challenger, 8C Competizione hardtop.

Tier 3

Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series, Aston Martin V12 Vantage/Porsche 911 Speedster.

  • With incapable hands, SL65 can do times that can approach the best of T4 cars. V12 Vantage and 911 Speedster have absurdly high top speeds below nitrous/Turbo (380+kph), can even beat SL65 in straight lines.
  • Avoid Panamera.

Tier 4

Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR, Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 Stirling Moss (removed in Remastered)/Lamborghini Diablo SV.

  • ACR has the best cornering acceleration in this game. It has overdrive gears. The downshift time is at ~335kph. Stirling Moss/Diablo SV is better at high speeds.
  • Porsche Carrera GT, Pagani Zonda Cinque is much better in Cop for enhanced top speed and nitrous.
  • Avoid Ford GT.

Tier 5

McLaren F1/Gumpert Apollo S, Koenigsegg CCX.

  • Both F1 and Apollo S have cornering capabilities and rocket nitrous. But I’m not good enough to decide which one is faster.
  • CCX can retain its speed at 400-410, makes it faster on long straights, and the fastest for Seacrest Tour.
  • Koenigsegg CCXR version, all versions of the virus have very bad nitrous in the racer. They may be relevant in the cop version.
  • Avoid Agera.
